When God Came To Stay

May 24, 2026

Fifteen hundred years before Pentecost, God came down on Mount Sinai with wind, fire, and thunder. Three thousand people died that day.

Fifteen hundred years later, on the very same day on the calendar, God came down again with wind and fire. But on this day three thousand people were saved. That is not a coincidence. That is the fingerprint of a God who plans His sequels with surgical precision.

But Pentecost wasn't just a louder version of Sinai. It was something the world had never seen before. God did not show up to visit His people. He came to dwell inside them, permanently, personally, and powerfully.

In this Pentecost Sunday message, Pastor Jeff walks through Acts 2 and the staggering truth that the Holy of Holies is no longer in Jerusalem. It's in you. Through the original Greek of words like aphnō ("suddenly"), eplēsthēsan ("were filled"), and naos ("inner sanctuary"), we discover that Pentecost was not God coming for a visit, it was God coming with a U-Haul.

Whether you've followed Jesus for decades or you're just curious about who He is, this message asks one question that changes everything:

Are you living like God is visiting your life, or like He has moved in?
