Why Do We Labor?

This Labor Day weekend, we’re asking a bigger question than, “How do I rest?” — we’re asking, “Why do we labor?”

In Luke 10:1–12, Jesus sends His followers into the harvest fields and reminds us that the work of the Kingdom never retires. Scripture doesn’t talk about retirement the way our culture does. Instead, it calls us to keep serving, keep giving, and keep running the race until the very end.
