Playing Favorities

Pastor Jeff

We’ve all seen it, and if we’re honest, we’ve probably done it: treating people differently based on what they wear, how much they make, or who they know. It’s called favoritism, and James, the brother of Jesus, has something to say about it.

In this week’s message, we’re diving into a challenging yet freeing truth: God doesn’t play favorites, and neither should we.

He doesn’t judge by outward appearance but looks at the heart. The rich and the poor, the overlooked and the honored, God calls us to love them all the same.

Favoritism isn’t just bad manners, it’s sin.

Real faith doesn’t just talk love, it lives it.

Let’s be people who reflect the heart of God, not the status games of the world.

Faith that loves. Faith that serves. Faith that works.
