Surrender vs. Status; Two Mothers, One Desire

Every godly parent wants the same thing: “God, use my child. Let their life matter. Let them bring You glory.” 

But how that desire is expressed reveals the condition of the heart. We will be looking at two women in Scripture that show us this clearly: 

Hannah — a woman who released her son to God and The wife of Zebedee, the mother of James and John — a woman who requested a position for her sons.  

Both loved their children deeply.

Both believed in God’s purpose. 

But their approaches could not have been more different.
